I’ve written for the Future Buzz before, and I acquired the site specifically to continue its mission as the most honest, informative and interesting PR and marketing blog in the world. Adam has made something truly wonderful, and I don’t intend to divert from that mission at all.
A little about me: I’ve been in PR around 11 years, I run the aforementioned EZPR, I’ve written for everyone from the Wall Street Journal to Deadspin, and I have read The Future Buzz for most of my career, which is a testament to everything Adam has done.
So, I want to lay out what the plans are for the site – those that we’ve executed already, and those that we’re going to be building in the next few months:
- We’ve totally redesigned the site to not only be faster, but responsive – so The Future Buzz now actually works on mobile. There’s a lot of back-end stuff to fiddle with, but we’re going to make sure the entire experience feels even better than before. In the short term, this might lead to some brief downtime as we migrate hosts and CDNs. I apologize in advance.
- You’re going to see regular content on the site again, not just from me, but from a variety of voices in marketing, PR and tech.
- We’re going to address everything – the good and the bad in our industries – and we’re going to really look to hear from you, our community.
